Since exploding onto the Queensland music scene in 2010, contemporary swing star Craig Martin and his Big Band have performed and thrilled audiences at many top venues including; Redland Performing Arts Centre, Twin Towns, The Arts Centre Gold Coast, Logan Entertainment Centre, Kedron Wavell Services Club and Brisbane Jazz Club....

He is now one of the most sought after guest vocalists for many top Queensland Big Bands, having guested with The Brisbane Big Band, The University of Queensland Big Band, The Brisbane Symphonic Band, The Brass Roots Big Band, St. Joseph’s College Jazz Orchestra and The Sheldon College Jazz Orchestra.

This modern day crooner, originally from Liverpool England, has performed with many of the UK’s leading big bands, including the UK’s premier big band ‘The Syd Lawrence Orchestra’.

This talented entertainer cleverly combines traditional and contemporary swing with great flair and imagination, he is a natural on stage, performing many of his own arrangements of swing, pop and rock’n roll classics, with a style unique to him.

Craig has recently performed with Queensland’s leading jazz vocalist, Ingrid James at Logan Entertainment Centre’s Jazz and Shiraz concert and is looking forward to performing alongside R&B sensation Jessica Mauboy at this years Redland’s Christmas by Starlight’ extravaganza.
