Firefly are an established group who have performed at hundreds of weddings and corporate events throughout south east Qld. Kylie Southwell and Paul Henderson graduated from the Qld Conservatorium of music in 1999/2000. Since then they've been performing together and individually with some of Brisbane's finest musicians. The trio is formed with the addition of bassist Peter Walters for a swinging, up-tempo performance and the 'Firefly Quartet' is formed with the addition of Drummer Mark Henman. The Quartet is able to encompass each and every delectable style that the jazz era has to offer, from ballads and sultry blues to funk/jazz/afro feels.
